In Summer 2027, 250+ young Europeans gather in Frankfurt am Main for a week of intercultural exchange and political dialogue.

European Youth Parliament
Since 1987, the EYP has inspired and empowered hundreds of thousands of young people to be open-minded, tolerant and active citizens by offering a space to express their opinions on European issues and to make friends and contacts across Europe. In extended parliamentary simulations, we make European politics tangible and accessible in a non-partisan way.

A Vision for a Resilient Europe
Many young people view the future with pessimism and are losing touch with politics. In times of multiple crises and domestic and foreign policy tensions, we need positive visions for the future in order to rise to today’s challenges.
A self-assured and independent European Union requires an active civil society, innovation and sustainable development. A strong Europe depends on the enthusiastic contribution of its younger generation.
The International Session Frankfurt am Main 2027 addresses this need and gives participants the opportunity to find hope and develop holistic visions to exert a positive influence on Europe and the world.

Confident on the World Stage
The EU is founded on fundamental values that remain as relevant today as ever. In the face of growing geopolitical tensions, security challenges and mounting pressure, Europe must redefine its place in the world as a self-assured, values-driven actor. How should the EU conduct itself internationally in the areas of defence, strategic alliances and diplomatic engagement?
Democratic at Heart
Democracy as a form of society is a central component of the European project, but is coming under increasing pressure due to growing polarisation and dwindling trust in political processes. A democratic society is shaped by informed citizens and underpinned by strong institutions. How can the EU sustainably strengthen education, critical thinking, social cohesion and civic engagement in the interests of democracy?
Prosperous by Design
Investing in Europe’s future pays off! Europe as a business location needs targeted investment in science, technology and future-proof infrastructure in order to hold its own in the global market. How can the EU support research and industry so that it can contribute to the global economy in an innovative and independent manner and secure Europe’s prosperity in the long term?
